The Guardian's 1,000 Books You Must Read

Perusing the list, there are some books here that, to be honest, I suspect one might not want to read, and others that one probably shouldn't read. And,of course, some that one should definitely read. That aside, here's the link to the Science Fiction and Fantasy novels that sneak into the Guardian's list.

I'm rather annoyed that some of my favourite authors, such as Randall Garrett, Gregory Maguire, Charles Stross, Kage Baker, Jeff VanderMeer and Jack Vance, among others, aren't listed here, but such is the way of life.

While the Guardian ordered their list by author, I've adopted gbsteve's method, and have listed the books by Date of Publication. I've also added some books here from their Side Lists as well. The books in bold are ones that I've read.
