RPGaDay in August - August 24th: Triumph

We continue on with #RPGaDay in August.

Day 24 - Triumph

Yes, I'm getting to this one late today. Things to do.

This could have been a difficult one. The obvious thing to talk about with today's word is the different ways in which the gaming groups I've run have triumphed or won the day in a given scenario or campaign, but... That's not what I think of when that word comes to mind.

For me, there are times in a gaming session when you have those moments where everything is working and going just right. The adventure is moving along with a minimal amount of guidance from you, the GM, the players are totally immersed in the game and the adventure at the moment, and both the GM and the players are having a terrific time. It's when those little moments present themselves that's how you actually "win" in roleplaying games. Triumph!

'Nuff said. :)

And there you have this twenty-fourth post for #RPGaDay for August, 2019. Comments, thoughts, questions, etc. are all welcome, of course.
