Last Day of June

It's the last day of June, 2020.

And in all honesty, I can't wait for this month to be over.

I'm not going to go into details about everything that's gone down in June and why I'll be happy to see the month in the rear view mirror (all you have to do is read some of the blog entries of the past month to see what's been going on health-wise with me), but it will be good to start looking forward to the month of July. I don't have a lot of plans for July, to be honest, at least nothing that comes to mind. Well, other than a bit of reading and hopefully getting back to gaming at some point.

That said, the Coronavirus continues to be a pandemic, as people make not smart (read: stupid) decisions in terms of physical distancing and not wearing face masks and taking measures to prevent the spread of the disease. That, and the fact that I think that governments in various countries and places loosened the restrictions too soon and didn't have means to back up the ones that were still in place and needed to be made. It's no wonder that there is a rise in cases in the United States and various other countries, now that governments are easing restrictions to bring life and the economy back to their countries, but still...

That said, Ottawa and the valley are experiencing the early July heatwave that is typical for this time of year. Today is no exception to this, though at least it will be under 30C for the day. The temperatures for the next week or so are going to be in the mid-30s C range, and with the humidity in the air it's going to feel much hotter. Ickk! Just plan to keep as cool as I can. 'Nuff said about that.
