Getting Ready for Friday Night Gaming

Another relatively cool day for September, with the temperature hitting around 22oC here today. However, definitely rainy and humid, and that's made it very uncomfortable for me.

On the health front, I'm still having problems with my left shoulder after the shoulder dislocation, but the doctors continue to assure me it's healing, just very slowly. In the meantime, I've got a lot of pain going down the neck from my left ear, and it hurts to turn my head. There's other stuff going on as well, but that's not something I'm going to talk about here.

Anyway, I'll be gaming with the Friday night gaming group this evening; the players should be arriving within the next hour or so. Looking forward to it. Given the state of COVID-19 currently, we'll be taking the appropriate health precautions tonight as the group decides on when they get here. Everyone wants to game, but knows we have to play safe in this time of the continuing pandemic.

Tonight, I'll be continuing on with the Friday night group's second adventure for the current DragonQuest RPG campaign, and I'm looking forward to seeing how the players and their characters deal with various things this evening.

In the meantime, I need to go upstairs and make some supper. Somehow.

Have a good evening, folks. :)
