Gaming Conventions, How Often?

I have recently been thinking about gaming conventions, such as GenCon and Origins, but there are also all the other, smaller gaming conventions out there. The fact of the matter is that gaming conventions, rather than being "holidays" in the true sense of the word, are somewhat stressful events (like most conventions) that can be enjoyable, albeit exhausting. Add to that the belief that I read in an article on-line that the sale of RPGs and board games can be enhanced tremendously by attending and promoting games at conventions, and that leads to this poll:

Poll #1407674 Gaming Convention Poll

How often do you go to RPG and Gaming Conventions?

More than three conventions per year
7(17.9%)
Two or three times per year
14(35.9%)
Once per year
5(12.8%)
I used to go to conventions, but not recently
8(20.5%)
I've never been to a gaming convention
5(12.8%)
Oh, geez, I'd *never* go to a gaming con!!
