It seems that a third of the curling stones in Australia have been stolen. Talk about a bizarre crime. 58 stones (out of 150 in the whole country) were stored in a refrigerator vehicle, and taken literally from outside the arena. As a curler I am somewhat dismayed, and quite upset, for Australian curlers. I mean, these stones are expensive to produce, and have no value outside of curling. Just plain weird.
