I had picked up croissant while doing a bit of grocery shopping in the snow on Saturday morning, and this was my treat for the day. Lovely croissant, with just a hint of marge and having some dipped in hot café au lait. Delicious. Great way to start a "Me Day"! :)
Spent the rest of the day doing a bit of reading (I've started Jasper Fforde's The Well of Lost Plots, which I'm rather enjoying about 110 pages in), writing a few game stats for some Doctor Who characters from Classic Who with the Doctor Who: Adventures in Time and Space rpg. Also spent the afternoon watching the Doctor Who serial, "The Twin Dilemma", with Colin Baker in the title role. Not a very good story, it was fun to watch and just what I needed, though not as entertaining as the Jasper Fforde novel.
Supper is already laid out, with some whole wheat pasta and meat sauce and a small salad, and then this evening will be spent watching the Olympic men's hockey game between Canada and the U.S.A. Looking forward to the game.
