Idiocy of the IOC
I believe that all of us can think of reasons to trash talk the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for all sorts of stuff during the Olympic games, but come on... Getting annoyed and their knickers in a knot because the Canadian women's hockey team partied (beer, champagne, cigars, etc.) in public after winning the gold medal is too ridiculous.
And let's be real here. For Goddess's sake, who in the Vancouver Police Department would actually try and bust them after winning the gold in Canada's national sport? Mind you, I have one thing to add. Coors beer? Come on, girols, that's just crappy beer. Didn't the gold medal deserve a Molson at least? Or even a Labatt Blue?
Geez.
