New Month, and an Observation

And so the beginning of another month. March 1st.

Where the heck did January and February go? :(

One of the things I've noticed about my life the last three or four months is that I've been reading significantly less. Granted that I've read 8 books (including 3 re-reads) this past two months, so I'm well off my reading pace of last year, but ever since I did all that book reading during the time I was at the hotel while the house was being repaired and cleaned, I've not wanted to read as much.

On the other hand, during the time since I moved back into the house, I've watched 75 Doctor Who DVDs. That's a lot of DVDs. I suspect it has something to do with the fact that I couldn't watch DVDs while at the hotel (I don't watch a lot of movies and the like on computer, because I don't like to do so) and the fact that I read sooooo many books while in the hotel that I've over-compensated for it. Part of watching the DVDs in February stemmed from the fact that there wasn't a lot on tv to watch, with the Winter Olympics and all. That said, *I* had a good time with the Doctor Who DVDs, so I'm not complaining here.

Just an observation is all.
