Mental Perturbations

It has been one heck of a week so far, and it's only Wednesday.

I have no idea what's going on in my head, but I can't seem to concentrate on much of anything the last few days. There's so much stuff that I have to do for the CanGames stuff that I'm running this year, and yet I keep putting that stuff off. I really hope I'm going to be ready to run the Doctor Who: Adventures in Time and Space and the Desolation games that I've got scheduled for that (more on those in a later post).

On top of that, I keep wanting to read some books, but just don't seem to have the energy to do so. On that subject, in good news, I did manage to finish reading Locus magazine for January, 2010, but haven't started in on February's issue yet. And last night, I finished reading Jasper Fforde's The Well of Lost Plots, the third book in the Thursday Next series, and rather enjoyed that. The series is such a joy to read that I've been trying to space the books out and savour them to the best of my ability, and that's worked so far.

Meanwhile, work and the project I'm on right now has got my head in an absolute whirl, and my foot has been healing slowly but surely, but is still quite painful at times. Driving, when I have to, is...difficult, as the toe is still mending, but it's coming along. Just going to take time, I guess. In good news, the stomach/bowel problems seem to be sorting themselves out slowly, and hopefully I won't be in the situation I am where that is concerned in the near future (the nearer, the better!).

Oh, well, better get back to the grind.
