Last night's game of DragonQuest was really good, and the group is doing really well with the stuff I've thrown at them the past couple of weeks. Even if they are griping a bit about being in the Palace of Ontoncle again!
This malaise has been affecting other parts of my life as well, as other than reading some comics in the last little while, I've not read any books in over two weeks. Other than working through a couple of books on diabetes, of course, which are heavy reads and somewhat depressing at times. Nothing really serious or outrageously depressing, but just giving me another set of doses of reality in terms of the disease.
I did launch the new, spam-free Blood of Heroes Mailing List. Blood of Heroes is the current incarnation of the Mayfair Exponential Game System (MEGS) that was first published by Mayfair Games as the DC Heroes rpg, without the DC universe background and setting. So far, the group has 14 members, not a lot, of course, but what can you do? Most of the folks who were subscribed to the old BoH list are probably not on the old list, given the 200+ messages of nothing but spam that have been there since...whenever. I'm hoping that things pick up, but we'll see.
The only real bright spot is that I picked up the first album by K.T. Tunstall this week, and it's rather good.
I'm off to take a couple of Tylenol, and then deal with some other things going on around here.
On the other hand, the good news is that the weather has warmed up nicely this week, even if it's very windy. Hmm, that reminds me, take a drink of water when I'm off here. :)
