Adèle Blanc-Sec Brought to Life

Was surfing the internet tonight, looking for stuff in which I'm interested and taking a break from reading some Savage Mars material, when I came upon this.

It's the trailer for a new movie, Les Aventures Extraordinaires d'Adèele Blanc-Sec (The Extraordinary Adventures of Adele Blanc Sec).

For those who don't know, Adèle Blanc-Sec is one of the coolest, hottest French comics written by writer/artist Jacques Tardi. Adèle is a freelance writer who operates in Paris, first before World War I, then in the 1920s. During the course of her adventures, she faces mad scientists, secret sects of demon worshippers, Egyptian mummies brought back to life, and a host of other weird creatures. You can read more about the series featuring Adèle Blanc-Sec at the link, and learn more about this character.

The film came out in April of this year, and the trailer for the movie is really neat, and while there's a lot of hokeyness, it looks like it could be a lot of fun. This one is a must-see in my book, methinks. :)
