The good news is that I have had a pretty good day today.

The bowel pain was pretty minimal for most of the day, and my body was relatively well behaved for the most part. Had two slices of toast with an egg and coffee for breakfast, managed to eat a Lean Cuisine chicken fettucine for lunch, and had half a steak, some salad, Jewish penicillin, and green beans for supper. A couple of slices of chalah with fish paté for snacks has been about it. Oh, and half a banana. Had a decent amount of water to drink.

The pain in my left arm from the IV administered to me on Saturday has receded somewhat, but I still can't bend the arm too well, and I am bruising quite nicely (badly?) at the moment. Just very sore.

The Sunday gaming group met and started the preliminary work for getting ready to actually play their Savage Mars game. Went over the game world, set up the basic area where the player characters come from and fleshed out some of their backgrounds a bit, and also managed to get in a few sample combats and game mechanics stuff. Pretty good day of gaming, I thought.

I managed to watch "Flesh and Stone", the Doctor Who episode that I missed on Saturday night. It re-aired on Space here at both 12:00 noon and at 7:00 pm on Space, so was able to watch it this evening. The episode had a lot of stuff going on in it, and I need to absorb a bit of that material before I write my review of the episode, for those who care to read such things.

Just getting ready to head to bed for the night. Work comes again tomorrow, and it's going to be a long week, between the work week, and CanGames this coming long weekend. Hmm, that reminds me, I need to spend a bit of time going over some of the game material for CanGames during the week. Off to bed.
