tiredThe morning here in Ottawa started with a bang, with a major thunderstorm last night that woke me up around 3:45. Considering that I had only gotten to bed close to 2 am, this was not a welcome thing. The day is a relatively cool one, around 22oC (71.6oF), with high humidity, and it is raining and wet.
Been up since about 7:00 am, and have already been out and picked up some veggie groceries, as I'm trying to eat relatively healthy these days (other than for my upcoming birthday, of course). Stopped off to make sure that the birthday cake is on order and that everything is correct for it. Lots of stuff on tap today, and need to go out later to buy a birthday card for my friend Tammy (see celebrates her birthday on July 2nd, the day before I do).
Other than that, some reading, some getting ready for Sunday's game of Desolation, and a bit of music appreciation is in my future today. :)
