Oh My Goodness!!

I have just been watching some Primeval from Series 3, notably the episode with the knight, Sir William de Mornay, who comes through the anomaly after the dragon...

...and have just realised that the actor who plays the knight, Tony Curran, is also the same guy who played the role of Vincent van Gogh in the recent Doctor Who episode, "Vincent and the Doctor".

One of the thing that struck me about Tony Curran's performance in both of these episodes was the fact that he is such a good character actor. Whether he's playing Sir William or Vincent, he *gets* the part, understands the nature of the historical character that he's playing, and gives an excellent performance. Will have to check out other tv parts that he's played over the last few years.
