Upgrading Ubuntu, Part I

Since things are pretty slow around here at the moment, I have decided to go ahead and do the upgrade from Linux Ubuntu v8.04 to Linux Ubuntu v10.whatever. This should be a simple upgrade, no muss no fuss, but as everyone knows these things rarely happen with me, and there's always something going on that will make the process interesting.

Wish me luck. I'll post up again here as soon as I can. :)
