Woke up this morning to an absolutely freezing blast of winter outside. The temperature when I left for work was an icy -230 C (around -9.40 F), but with a horrific windchill), and it's going up to a balmy -180 C for the day. Barely got the car started for the morning, but things are rather warmer now that I'm in the office.
The week is not about to get any better, given that I've got the eye doctor/specialist and urologist appointments on Tuesday and Thursday respectively, and somehow have to make sure that I get a hotel room booked for GenCon Indy 2011 as well. Between that and blood tests, freezing cold weather and snow, and other stuff going on, it's going to be a hell of a week. No wonder I have come to dislike Mondays...
On a brighter note, yesterday's game went... well. After the gaming session, I went on-line and purchased my membership and badge for this year's GenCon Indy 2011. The process was pretty painless, since there didn't seem to be a lot of traffic on the site when I took care of it close to 6:00 pm.
Supper last night consisted of some roast chicken that I had left over, some pasta with a mozzarella sauce, green beans and some mixed peas. Good meal overall. Spent the rest of the evening puttering around, doing a bit of reading, and trying to get my head together about the stressful week that is to come.
