Yes, work. I am employed again.
I haven't said all that much about it this week, but I have a job as a translator for the Federal Government here in Canada. That's all I can really say about what I do. Suffice it to say, this first week has been really interesting, and it seems that I'm going to be doing some fascinating, challenging work in this new job. At times, the week's work was boring, at times it was extremely challenging, but it's nice to be part of the workforce again, to be honest, and I'm looking forward to the weeks ahead as I settle into some sort of daily routine (if such a job can have routine to it, I don't know yet). Started bagging my own lunch for the day, since the food where I'm working is quite rich, and I *am* trying to continue dieting, even if it doesn't seem that way at times.
Got my Friday night rpg group coming over tonight, so have to clean up a bit of the house, get supper going on the stove, and take care of some preparation for the game tonight. I'm running the TÉKUMEL: EMPIRE OF THE PETAL THRONE roleplaying game based in the world of Tékumel created by M.A.R. Barker, and it's a challenging world to run a game in. Looking forward to this.
