A news story out of National Geographic has brought some giant Easter egg throughts to mind, but it's still a really neat find.

Fascinating news and science story. It gives me hope, though I'm not sure for what. :) That said, the artist conception of the beastie is a bit lacking, and not up to NatGeo standards I find, but still, an interesting discovery.
