A Good Day
Yesterday was my first day on the antibiotic prescribed by the doctor to treat my toe problem (as noted in this blog entry), and to be honest, I had worries about what the stuff was going to do to my body, notably my digestive system, and the like.
My fears were well grounded. Spent much of the 2-4 am last night with terrible cramps and nausea, two of the more common symptoms of this particular antibiotic. Needless to say, did not get a lot of sleep last night. Other than that pair of side effects, so far so good. But I am rather tired, and it's interfering with my concentration at work at the moment.
In the meantime, I managed to start another book out of my To Read Queue (TRQ) yesterday evening before bed, the Nashville Predators started off their NHL Hockey Stanley Cup run with a 4-1 win over the Anaheim Ducks, courtesy of Mike Fisher's two goals, and some of my gaming concerns have been addressed by those in the know.
So life is relatively good.
