Books Read in July, 2011

Since we've hit a new month now that it's August, and I won't be blogging after tomorrow morning for close to a week, here are the reading figures for my month of July reads. As you can see, despite it being summer, I've actually managed to read more than I expected to last month, due to a variety of reasons. Anyway, here's the book reads.

Books Read in July, 2011

Myth Alliances by Robert Asprin and Jody Lynn Nye

May, 2011 Reader's Digest

The Ultimate Mallworld by S.P. Somtow (r)

The Dark Lord of Derkholm by Diana Wynne Jones (r)

March, 2011 Comics

June, 2011 Reader's Digest

The Hotel Under the Sand by Kage Baker

April, 2011 Comics

June, 2011 Locus

Knight's Dawn by Kim Hunter (r)

Faces Under Water by Tanith Lee

A decent reading month, given that it's the middle of the summer. Overall, I managed to read 6 novels, 0 RPGs and RPG products, 3 magazine, 16 comics, and 0 graphic novels in July. This brings the year total in 2011 to 40 books, 8 RPGs and RPG products, 10 magazines, 49 comics, and 1 graphic novel.

As per usual, thoughts and comments are welcome. :)

It's super unwise to go ahead with a convention but people insist on pretending things are normal. I just read an article that showed all of the precautions the very wealthy are taking at large…

Thank you!! It was a fairly busy day, making phone calls without number to deal with the two escrows in process at the same time, all the time praying that everything works out well and that both…

It's like that quote from The Neverending Story: "It has to hurt if it's to heal!" I say that to myself when things are rough.

The pandemic absolutely hit healthcare really hard, and still is since…

Yep, the foot ulcer is definitely scary to deal with, and is beyond uncomfortable. The chiropodist told me at my last appointment a week or so ago that the pain always gets worse as the healing…

I'm sorry that your foot is causing you so many issues. A foot ulcer sounds scary to deal with as well as uncomfortable.

Our health care system is rough and I think it's going to get worse before…
