Had a terrific night of gaming with the Friday night group, and the session of Abney Park's Airship Pirates went really well, exceeding all of my expectations. I'll be blogging about the game at some point today, but it will depend on when I get to transcribe my game notes. Lots of fun was had, so expect the game report when you see it. :)
Woke up this morning with a very sore neck and shoulder, and I felt like my allergies were going to have a bad day (about which I've been right so far this morning), but I've taken it relatively easy. I didn't feel like eggs this morning for breakfast, so had some cereal with yogurt and coffee, and a hot pack on my shoulder/back.
I have puttered around a bit here at home, cleaned up a bit from last night's game, and am debating what I want to do the rest of the day, as well as how to handle preparations for Sunday's gaming session. The morning has been relatively cool, but I have foregone my walk today in favour of more time spent with the hot pack on my neck and shoulder, and feel moderately better than I did when I woke up.
In the meantime, been keeping an eye on the news and weather reports about Hurricane Irene, and hope that all my friends and the folks in the affected areas are taking precautions, and are well and safe as they weather the storm.
Have to wait and see what the rest of the day brings.
