Saturday Thoughts, with a Mention of Rum

Ah, Saturday, and the weekend...

Had a terrific Friday night with my gaming group, and yes, I promise that I will not take a week to get the journal entry transcribed up from my notes. :) Suffice it to say that the Friday gaming group had a good session of their Abney Park's Airship Pirates campaign last night, and both I and the players have been really enjoying the game quite a bit.

On the subject of the game, I have been convinced to run a Play By e-Mail (PBeM) game of Abney Park's Airship Pirates, and will be announcing more about this during the early part of next week.

Woke up this morning, feeling somewhat tired after last night's late night (went to bed after 1:00 am), but quite good for all of that. Had a good healthy omelette with cheese and some veggies after taking a 20-minute walk outside, and feel really "up and at 'em" this morning. Got some cleaning around the house to take care of, and am then going to spend the rest of the day enjoying myself and having a relaxing time.

I've got something of a small party with friends to attend tonight, and am looking forward to that, but will try to not make it a very late night again tonight. I may drink a bit tonight, however, as there is the promise of a mix of rum that is based on Captain Robert Brown's (he of Abney Park) preference of Kraken, Pyrat, and Sailor Jerry. Should be an entertaining evening, for certes. And gaming on Sunday should be...interesting, to say the least.

Anyway, off to clean away the breakfast dishes.
