Celebrate Canadian Archaeology

November 4th is a day to mark on your calendar if you're an archaeology afficionado or fan.

The Archaeological Institute of America is partnering with its one hundred and eight local societies, including Ottawa's, to host events in more than 100 cities across the U.S. and Canada as part of its first Archaeology Day on October 22nd. However, Ottawa's day will be held later with lectures and an exhibition at the Museum of Classical Antiquities (70 Laurier East). The event will begin at 4 p.m., with lectures aat 6:30 p.m.
