Suffice it to say that Saturday was relatively relaxing, although I tweaked my back somewhat when spross came over and helped me box up all the Classic Doctor Who DVDs. There's just way too many of them, and they were taking up most of my allotted DVD space on the shelves, so they're now sorted by Doctor in boxes that I can just add to as new DVDs are released.
On Sunday, I ran the gaming group through their paces and the new adventure of the Primeval RPG that I started with them. The game started somewhat slow, but picked up by the end, and I enjoyed myself running it, though am still frustrated at not having a print copy of the game to use for reference yet. I've got the essential tables and charts printed out, but not having access to the Combat chapter (for example), other than on the laptop, at this point, makes it annoying to have to deal with some of the game mechanics and all. That said, the Primeval RPG game is still a lot of fun, and I'm enjoying running the game system. I hope that the players had a good time with the game, and that they're enjoying it as much as I am. Despite some of the problems with the rules (due to there not being a print version of the game out yet), and the fact that I feel...hesitant about some stuff in the system at this point.
In the meantime, this evening I'm looking forward to seeing what a new Castle episode has to offer, and I plan to do a bit of writing for campaign scenarios and the like.
