The Crazies - I'm Going to GenCon Again
It has been a hectic week. Between work, and writing and prepping the All For One: Régime Diabolique scenario that I'll be running at this year's CanGames (if anyone pre-registers or shows up for those two sessions), I've been feeling stressed and time-deprived.
So on that note: What the heck have I done???
Yesterday, I got sort of convinced that it was in my best interest to attend this year's GenCon in Indianapolis the week of the 16th of August. My friend,
spross, will be going down to the States with me again this year for the convention. So yesterday, I bought my membership and badge for the convention (I'm hoping to get that money back by working for one of the gaming companies again this year). And today, I booked the hotel room at the J.W. Marriott hotel - not my first choice, but left this so late that I had to take what I could get.
So, for those who went to GenCon last year, and who might have stayed at the J.W. Marriott, what's the hotel like? Any good restaurants in the hotel to eat at? And as a diabetic, am I going to be able to eat anything in the hotel that might be good for me at all?
