To be honest, I'm glad that April is over and done with, as it seems to have been a long month for me, and is not one about which I'll have all that fond memories.
This month promises to be quite busy and somewhat hectic. Work is currently at an interesting state for me, and while I'm enjoying the job, the boss has been snappish of late and with the recent layoffs, well...things are happy on the job necessarily.
Gaming-wise, I'm hoping to get a decent bit of campaign game play in, though I know that this will be interrupted by CanGames come the weekend of the 18th to the 20th. The scenarios for the convention, "Message in An Anomaly" and "Feast or Flight" (both for the Primeval RPG which still isn't out, dammit! :( ) and "Une Abondance de la Folie" (for the All For One: Régime Diabolique rpg) are ready to go, and I'm looking forward to running them. I don't know how much more of All For One: Régime Diabolique I'll be running in campaign, but the Friday and Sunday groups both decided that they want to play SkyRealms of Jorune next, so I'll need to start reading up on that game once more.
On the reading front, I've had a pretty slow month of reading in April, but that was due more to the rpg editing and proof-reading that I did during the month, and just feeling like doing other stuff as well over the course of the month. (Notably reading old Legion of Super-Heroes comics.) While CanGames won't give me a lot of chance to read, I'm hoping to catch up with a bit of reading while I've got a bit of free time the rest of my month, assuming no other editing or proof-reading jobs come up.
If I have one regret every year at this time, it's that I'm not in some kind of relationship or seeing someone casually. Such is life, I suppose, and I'm not getting any younger.
