The Day After the Convention

Hope everyone is having a good day. :)

While I'm feeling somewhat tired, and am in a modicum of pain in both my back and my left foot (as well as having some cramps in my upper thighs), I have to say that I had a pretty good and thoroughly enjoyable weekend at CanGames 2012. The convention had a little bit for everyone - from children's games, through board games, miniature games, roleplaying games, and even some live-action stuff - but I have to admit that I didn't have too much time to see lots of stuff. (That's one of the reasons I was hoping that some folks would be posting a few CanGames photos up!)

I'm taking it somewhat easy today, going to do some reading, sort out the gaming stuff and put things away, and get ready to write up some posts about my experiences at this year's CanGames (there will likely be three or four of these, with some photos as well).

I've got a footcare appointment for later this week, as well as an appointment at my family doctor next week, and still have to find out tomorrow when I'll be getting my car back.

In the meantime, event registration for this year's GenCon Indy opened yesterday at noon, so I need to see if there are any games I can register for and all. Btw, for those attending GenCon Indy and those interested, I'll be running four events of the Primeval RPG, Thursday and Friday at noon, one on Friday evening at 8:00 pm, and one that was supposed to be moved from Thursday 8:00 pm to Saturday at 4:00 pm (but that one hasn't been changed it seems). So I hope some folks register for those games and come out to play in some dinosaur goodness!

For now, lunch awaits. :)
