June 1st, A New Month
June 1st. The start of a new month. Thank Goddess.
While May was not a bad month in many respects (it did have CanGames after all), from a health standpoint it was a pretty bad month in a lot of ways. I'm hoping that June will be a better month for me in that respect, though I've still got a couple of difficult things to do. I'm scheduled for an endoscopy on Tuesday, June 5th, and am not looking forward to that. It's only been a couple of months since the last one (see this blog entry for more details on that event, if you like), and to be honest, I'm dreading this. The other thing that I'm not looking forward to is something I can't discuss here on the blog yet.
On the other hand, I'm looking forward to June as a month in which I get a bit healthier on the feet side of things, and in which I get to run some decent roleplaying game sessions. I've the got the new Parsec RPG and the Uber RPG: Steampunk games to look forward to this month, and there's always stuff for the All For One: Régime Diabolique and Primeval RPG to do as well, so I won't be unoccupied for the month of June.
My one regret from May was the little reading I seemed to do (you can see what I mean when I post the month's reading list in another blog later this week), and this is something I intend to rectify. However, I may not be able to do so as the summer months are when my reading is at its least during the course of the year.
