A Strange Friday, Not a Good Night

Yesterday, Friday, was a pretty mundane day for the most part, other than the night hours.

Work went passably well, and I was glad when it was over and I got to go home and relax as best I can for the weekend. With the Friday gaming group coming over during the evening to start/re-launch their a|state RPG campaign, I was pretty hyped up, and did some work to get ready for the evening game session. I'll be writing a separate blog entry on that some time today.

After the gaming group left for the evening, I tidied up the living room a bit, and then went down for bed. Felt pretty good, but was pretty exhausted after the work day and the gaming that went late into the night.

Woke up around 3:45 a.m. with terrible heartburn and the taste of acid reflux in my mouth. This was the first time I'd experienced any symptoms of acid reflux since I started taking my Tecta. I went upstairs and took four spoons (the max dose recommended) of liquid Gaviscon, and felt much better. I went back to bed, and tried to sleep again.

Woke up around 7:30 a.m. again, and felt totally bleary-eyed. I took my dose of antibiotic for the morning dose, and then napped again until 8:30 a.m., and have been up since then. Needless to say, I don't feel too rested at all.
