Hot Friday

Got in to work about 15 minutes ago, and have enjoyed my first cup of herbal tea this morning, while glancing at the piles of paperwork on my desk that needs to be dealt with before I leave the office today for home.

It was 250C when I got out of the car here at the office, and it's going to be a blazingly hot day once more in the city. This is not going to help with some of the brush fires that are going on at the West End of the city, that continue to be somewhat out of control there. And to add insult to injury, the air conditioning here at the office is on the fritz, resulting in slightly warmer temperatures indoors for work than I am comfortable with.

Oh, did I mention it's going to be a long day?
