Books Read in August, 2012

It's the start of the month of September (relatively speaking), reading-wise, so as is my standard usage of my blog space at or near the beginning of the month, I present the listing of my August reads.

Books Read in August, 2012

July, 2012 Locus

Class Dis-Mythed by Robert Asprin and Jody Lynn Nye

The Mammoth Book of Steampunk edited by Sean Wallace

White Crow by Mary Gentle

The Call of the Sword by Roger Taylor (r)

Is Anybody Out There? edited by Nick Gevers and Marty Halpern

The Princeton Field Guide to Dinosaurs by Gregory S. Paul

March, 2012 Readers Digest

The Dying Earth Revivication Folio by Robin D. Laws (RPG)

April, 2012 Readers Digest

Fool by Christopher Moore

August, 2012 was actually a pretty good month of reading on my part, given that I went to GenCon Indy mid-way through the month and didn't do a lot of reading there as I'd expected to do. I was also pleased that there was a good amount of new/newer books read from my reading queue, rather than a lot of re-reads which is my want at times.

Overall, I managed to read 7 novels, 1 RPG and RPG products, 3 magazines, 0 comics, and 0 graphic novels in August. This brings the 2012 year totals up to the following: 60 books, 17 RPGs and RPG products, 13 magazines, 527 comics, and 0 graphic novels.

Anyway, thoughts and comments are always welcome. :)
