International Book Day Meme

For those who don't know, it's International Book Week. And, of course, there's a game associated with the week and the love of books and all that.

The rules are simple: Grab the book that is closest to you, turn to page 52, and post the fifth sentence in this entry. Don't mention the title of the book. And remember to post these rules so that the process gets passed along.
