Saturday Morning Thoughts
Woke up this morning around 7:00 am, way too early after a night of gaming.
I've developed something of a mild cough, and hope that I haven't come down with something. It would be my luck if I have, given the changing weather conditions this past week and the somewhat wettish (read: very rainy) and cool conditions of late. Getting sick right now is not an option.
Gaming last night with the Friday night group was really good. If somewhat panicky for me. The Friday night group started the Shadows of Esteren game campaign last night, and my nerves were slightly on edge, as this was the first time I've run the game. No matter how many times one reads a set of game rules and world material, it never prepares you for the running of the game. I'll blog separately about the game session in another post, but suffice to say the game went really well, with a couple of hiccups here and there.
Going to be busy this afternoon, as per this journal entry,
spross will be giving me some help today, as I'm go to take a bunch of books downtown to sell, including pretty much all of the Terry Pratchett stuff (with the exceptions noted in the previous post). It's something I'm loathe to do, but you have to do what you have to do.
