Drained
Just back from the hospital for the third time this week.
The first was having blood drawn on Monday. They took eight (8) vials of the stuff.
The second was Tuesday's trip to the hospital with mom for her first of two MRIs. Managed to make some good inroads into Jasper Fforde's Something Rotten while waiting for her there.
The third trip to the hospital was just after lunch today, and they drained me of another nine (9) vials of blood. The doctor advised me to drink plenty of fluids for the next couple of days, and eat some good, red meat like steak to start replenishing the blood supply.
In any event, I feel somewhat nauseous and a bit dizzy at the moment, so I'm having a pepperette stick of meat and some water, and will lie down for a bit and nap.
