Books Read in October, 2012

It's the start of the month of November (relatively speaking), reading-wise, so as is my standard usage of my blog space at or near the beginning of the month, I present the listing of my October reads.

Books Read in October, 2012

Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire (r)

April, 2012 Comics

Shadows of Esteren, Book 1 - Universe by Nelyhann, Aldo Pappacoda, Frédéric Hubleur, Joelle Deschamps, Ludovic Monnier-Ragaigne, Guillaume Vasseur, Ynis, and Dragon-Étoile, Translation by Clovis (RPG) (r)

Into Narsindal by Roger Taylor

Basic Palaeontology by Michael Benton and David Harper

September, 2012 Locus

Legion of Super-Heroes v3 #69 - Legionnaires #68 (Comics) (r)

Something Rotten by Jasper Fforde

It turns out that October, 2012 was a pretty poor month for me in terms of book reads (got lots of old comics in, as you can see!), though I did the book reading in a relatively short period with various doctor appointments for my mother and so forth. I can't say I'm pleased about so few reads for the month, but it is what it is. The biggest surprise I got was while reading the Legion of Super-Heroes comics; these comics are from the period around 1995-1997, and I was shocked to realise that I didn't remember any of the plotlines in detail at all. Lovely. :)

Overall, I managed to read 4 novels, 1 RPG and RPG products, 1 magazines, 127 comics, and 0 graphic novels in October. This brings the 2012 year totals up to the following: 72 books, 23 RPGs and RPG products, 16 magazines, 654 comics, and 0 graphic novels.

Anyway, thoughts and comments are always welcome. :)
