MPhone Learning Curve

As noted in this blog entry from yesterday, I picked up a mobile phone from the good folks at WIND Mobile.

And now I'm wondering if I bit off more than I could chew. I've been toying around with the mphone today a bit this morning, and I think the learning curve is going to be... steep.

The Galaxy Nexus is supposed to be an easy phone to use and work with, but having no bloody paper manual for the mphone is making the learning curve full of trial-and-error.

I needed this like a hole in head. *Grand Sigh*

In the meantime, time to get ready to run the Sunday afternoon session of Shadows of Esteren.

So, put the mobile phone down, JohnK, and step away from the table.

Have you tried googling? If you google Galaxy Nexus phone manual, it comes up with a PDF, which you can at least print out for your own use.

Second hit got this:

Hope that's some use.

Yep, tried Googling all over the place and managed to find the manual. It's 107 pages, and I really want to avoid printing this out, since it's not convenient to carry around in that size and stuff.

I really want to know why the mobile phone vendors don't have nice, small physical copies of the manual for their customers. (Aside from the waste of paper business.)

That's what I had heard, Hub. Wasn't thinking of buying the Galaxy Nexus for that purpose, but it's an added bonus. :)

Just a shame that WIND doesn't have a zone in Quebec. Won't be able to call you on the mobile when you move. Vancouver is good, though. :)
