BBC Makes Poor Decision

For those fans of the new Doctor Who series (I'm not sure I'm still one of them, alas and alack), the BBC has decided to spoil the surprise coming up for the Fourth series:

Suffice it to say, I have no idea why they are undertaking this particular move, since it completely spoils what happened with the character in the earlier season of the show. And even making the move, why ruin the surprise by posting this on their website at all? Silly, silly gits! :(

The only other time I saw her in something serious, she was okay. That's as far as I'm prepared to go. I suppose we should be thankful she isn't throwing her knickers at the Doctor like the girlies, but why do I think that's going to change?

I thought Agyeman was going over to Torchwood?

Hey, Barrowman is okay! He knows he's working on pap, but he's smart enough to grab the limelight while he can and he knows he can always escape back to the stage.

And Freema can't really stay in TW too long because a) owen will try to shag her and b) she has to remain "clean" for the family show (so no hanky-panky for her)

While they certainly had said that there would be three companions for the Fourth series, there was no indication that Rose would be back. I would have thought that they might have kept that under wraps a bit longer, or kept it as a surprise. I suspect you're right about why they announced it, and maybe they figure it'll attract some of the folks who watched Piper in Diary of a Call Girl? :)

Can't see the catfight between Rose and Martha, but it would sure boost the ratings, like you said! :)

Well, that just confirms the fact that I ain't touching this season with a barge pole. Two simpering baggages and a shouty woman, marvellous. And if the other rumour (which the BBC hasn't denied) about five companions and the Doc flying the TARDIS is true (I'll leave you to guess who the other two could be, but it isn't difficult), it's going to be the biggest fan-w**k ever (considering who else is likely to turn up for them all to fight).

I despair, I really do.

*Five* companions, Lynne?? Ooh, that's just ugly... and certainly not my cup of tea. :(

And no, I'm not going to guess who the other two might be...

Stunt casting on a par with the worst days of McCoy.

I just hope there's something left after Season 4 for Stephen Moffat to resurrect
