He took a look at me, poked me, took my temperature, and it was when he looked down my throat said, "I was wrong...it's not the flu...you've got strep throat." I looked at him, and he apologised profusely, saying that the flu season is upon us and so doctors tend to be less likely to diagnose anything other than flu at this time of year.
Prescribed an antibiotic, biaxin, which I get to take once per day, two pills per dose.
I am hope again, and have taken my first dose of biaxin with food.
