calmToday is British actor Ben Miller's birthday. While he is best known for being one half of the comedy double act Armstrong and Miller, along with Alexander Armstrong, I remember him quite fondly for his role of (Sir) James Lester in the five series of the Primeval tv series.
Mr. Miller is currently starring in the Death in Paradise series as DI Richard Poole, and it's having a good run and getting good ratings.
