Terribly sad news today in the world of music, though I suspect it depends on whether you've even heard of the band The Divinyls.

Divinyls Singer Chrissy Amphlett Dies at Age 53

I was and still am a huge fan of the Divinyls and their music, ever since I first heard it back in the very early 1980s.

Here are two of my favourite videos from the band and their eclectic, electrifying lead singer.

Sad, sad news. And I will miss her delicious vocals.

Rest In Peace, Chrissy.
