Tuesday Morning Stresses

Woke up this morning feeling somewhat tired and stressed.

Didn't sleep all that well last night, tossing and turning about all manner of stuff, but nothing I want to talk about. Had maybe four hours of sleep, if I'm lucky.

The doctor's office called yesterday and the receptionist told me that Dr. Quack wants to schedule an appointment with me for 12:00 noon on Wednesday. She doesn't know why, but apparently it's some sort of follow-up.

In the meantime, the boss at work is trying to pressure my team on the current translation job to get it going faster, and there's been a few errors and glitches by several of my teammates on the project. With me taking Thursday off from work (as part of my long weekend), the boss is not overly pleased, but the project is going at a steady pace that he can afford to give me the extra day off.

Finally, I'm still working on the scenario for the Rocket Age RPG game that I'll be running at CanGames this weekend, but I'm hoping to have it finished and wrapped up by this afternoon, sometime after I get home from work. I've been working on this one (and one of the Primeval RPG game session scenarios) for the last five days straight, cleaning things up, converting stats, and other stuff, and will be glad when the stress of working on all this gaming stuff for the convention is done.

For now, back to the grind.
